11:08 pm [Link]	How to revive your muse 101 A recent visit with obsidianagirl and her pleads for me to write some M/R shiny goodness and especially the epic fic has had me looking for my M/R muse. Needless to say she's been rather difficult to find. She's very good at hiding, but then I went looking at some old archived items I have over on Google Docs and I found a little fic I had started with her a while back to try and revive her M/R muse with. We had it going back and forth and well, it just died. She had no interest in writing on it. So, as I'm rereading it, I'm thinking this is some good shit. It's pointless M/R smut but it was incomplete. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder and turn and voila, there was my muse and she's all whisper, whisper, write this. Hmm, I should have know some simple M/R smut would help revive her but I have a feeling it will take more than one piece to do it. dramatic sigh Oh the things I have to do for my fic. Also, currently waiting on hubby to find me video ripping software because I have a video I HAVE to make and it was all his idea too! 01:35 pm [Link]	At work! I'm playing hooky at the moment for work. I'm a terrible employee but then, the work I'm actually doing is just "busy work". You know the stuff. It's what you do to fill your up your hours when you don't have any honest to goodness work to be done. Other than that, I've been sneaking a little fic reading amongst my cough labor. 11:16 pm [Link]	3/6/08 Gotta love my life somedays. Been sick for 2 days. Slept most of today and gonna go to sleep soon too. Jim gave Gravy (Michael of Gravesend) my cell number. Talked to Gravy for about an hour. Apparently going thru a rough time of it with his wife, as they have been separated for 4 months. Talked with him about it and he says he thinks that maybe I need to talk to his wife. Told him I was willing to if he wanted me to. Also told him that I was here if he wanted to talk. Think I'm gonna have to put forth the effort to talk to him weekly because I don't think he'll be smart enough to call me. Looking forward to Retreat this weekend, regardless of how crappy I feel. 09:47 pm [Link]	A well organized mind Came to realize I might be slightly more inclined to write if I outlined my storyline. Currently rereading Broken Promises and creating rough outline for first 10 Chapters. Yes, I know that 9 have only been published and after rereading what I have so far on #10, it needs to be fleshed out a bit more and has additional scene. Then the fun will begin. I will have to give appropriate kudos to psycholizard for her wonderful aide to my story line. cackles evilly Remember psycholizard mums the word on your wonderful idea. winks As to that, as soon as I get the rest of the chapters decently outlined I can write. I will probably also, simultaneously go back and outline Code of Honor. provides CPR where needed So I can finish that story line. It really didn't have much further to go but it kind of lost heart. 12:25 am [Link]	Merry Friggin' Christmas I'm not one for posting my everyday happenings on my live journal. I usually save it for important stuff like my writing, but since today decided to be extra special I need to let a few things out. First, my day started with my husband waking me up saying that someone from area code 248 kept calling. I said, that's my family and he should know that and pick it up. So, I called back the number and it's my oldest sister, Theresa. Theresa is not known for her tact. Heck, if tact ran up and hit her in the face she still wouldn't know what it was. Apparently, Anne-Marie's (2nd oldest of 5 of us) husband passed away this morning in his sleep. They have to do an autopsy on him on Wednesday to determine the cause. Don't know when the funeral is yet, but it will more than likely be next weekend. Then, while my husband and I were doing some last minute shopping at Target (and it's always at Target this happens) we ran into some former friends (they're a couple)of ours. Why are they former? Well, my husband had an affair with the wife. Yeah, talk about a punch to the gut. Just what I needed on top of a death in the family. I'm okay, just needed to share the joy that is my holiday season this year. (Yeah, that was sarcasm.) (16 comments \| Show me some LUV)
